Mount Rushmore

From Crooked Creek turn left on US 385 and proceed south approximately 1 mile. Turn left on State Road 244. This is a scenic drive and will take you directly to Mt. Rushmore.

Crazy Horse Memorial

From Crooked Creek turn left on Hwy 16 south. Continue for approximately 7 miles until you get to the Crazy Horse entrance.

Custer State Park

From Crooked Creek turn left and proceed for approximately a 1/4 mile. Turn left on State Hwy 87. This will take you to Sylvan Lake and from there you may continue on into Custer, SD on Hwy 89 and take a left and drive the Needles Highway down to the heart of Custer State Park.

1880 Train

Turn right and go 2 miles into Hill City. At the stop light take a right and continue on for approximately 1/2 mile. The 1880 Train will be on your right.

Deadwood

From Crooked Creek turn right and follow US 385 approximately 40 miles to Deadwood. This is a very scenic drive and will take you past Sheridan Lake, Pactola Reservoir, Roubaix Lake and directly into Deadwood where gambling is still king.

Devils Tower

From Crooked Creek turn right on US 385 and continue on US 385 until you get to Deadwood. Follow US 385 through Deadwood until you get to Interstate 90. Turn left (west) and drive to Sundance, Wy. Approximately 30 miles. At Sundance turn right onto US 14 and continue onto Devils Tower.

Wind Cave National Park

From Crooked Creek turn left on Hwy 16 and proceed into Custer. At the stoplight turn right and proceed to the next stoplight and turn left. You will still be on US 385. This is a very nice drive and will take you directly into Wind Cave National Park.

Jewel Cave National Park

From Crooked Creek turn left on Hwy 16 and proceed into Custer. Turn right at the stoplight and continue straight for approxiamtely 12 miles. The entrance is well marked.

Sturgis Bike Rally

From Crooked Creek turn right on US 16/385 to the junction of US 16. Stay on US 16 and head to Rapid City. At Rapid City follow the signs to Interstate 90. Turn left (head west) on Intertstate 90. 25 miles later you will find Sturgis.

Mammoth Site

From Crooked Creek turn left on US 16/385 and continue onto Custer, SD. At the stoplight turn right. At the next light turn left and follow US 385 to Hot Springs.

Reptile Gardens

From Crooked Creek turn right on US 16/385. Stay on US 16 and head to Rapid City. It will be on your left. You can't miss it!

Bear Country USA

From Crooked Creek turn right on US 16/385. Stay on US 16 and head to Rapid City. After you pass Rockerville go approximately 3 miles. It will be on your left.

Old MacDonalds Farm

From Crooked Creek turn right on US 16/385. Stay on US 16 and head to Rapid City. After you pass Rockerville go approximately 2 miles. It will be on your left.

Flying T Chuckwagon Supper and Show

From Crooked Creek turn right on US 16/385. Stay on US 16 and head to Rapid City. After you pass Rockerville go approximately 5 miles. It is next to the Reptile Gardens on your left.

Everything Prehistoric

From Crooked Creek turn right on US 16/385. Go to Hill City. It will be on your left hand side as you get to the end of main street.

Evans Plunge

From Crooked Creek turn left on US 16/385 and proceed into Custer. At the stoplight turn right and then left at the next stoplight on US 385. This will take you through Wind Cave National Park and on to Hot Springs. At Hot Springs watch the billboards for directions.
